The objective of the spot was to promote the premiere of Season 2 of “Naked & Afraid” to Discovery’s core audience of men 30-45 in the Nordic market. Discovery wanted the show, which features half naked men & women trying to survive in the wild outdoors, to connect with their Scandinavian viewers in a humorous way. We therefore put a Nordic looking couple in a Nordic “Bøge” tree forest where they could act out their lust for survival.
