The objective of the spot was to tease Discovery’s core audience of a one week program line-up full of weird creatures, supernatural beings and unsolved mysteries. Discovery Channel in the Nordics had previously been criticized for programs about unexplainable mysteries. Some viewers felt the channel lost the factual part of its brand with those types of shows. So, along with a clip based promo explaining the line-up, we produced this conceptual spot featuring some of the prominent beasts the audience would meet during the week. We felt that an adventure styled spot would justify the programs integrity.
